We have a young child with autism and we are feeling like we need to relocate because we don't think the state we live in is not a good environment for our autistic child. We are considering Indiana because they seem to have services that fit our needs. We also have heard that they have autism south bend . We don't know a lot about it, so if someone can offer more information that would be great. What states do you think are good for autism services?

My best friend's brother is now 21 years old and he thinks that at this age, he should be living independently. Their parent, though, think otherwise. They have this idea that they should be taking care of him for life but he just want to break out. Advise please on what is the right thing to do? Thank you.

12 to 17 is such an amazing time. Kids are coming into their own decisions and opinions. I notice my kids at this age want to have their own opinions, but sometimes don't want to hurt my feelings by disagreeing with me. I remember doing that too, and I remember when I started to express my own opinions about clothes and other things, that I began to feel like the independent person I was becoming.
