This book is a novel, written from the perspective of a teen who has Asperger Syndrome. It is a book for adults, not a kids book, but teens would enjoy it, too. It is a mystery that the character with Asperger Syndrome sets out to solve. His Asperger issues get in the way, but also help him work out the solution, and how to get information to get to the solution. Fascinating and fun to read!

Finding Ben: A Family's Journey Through the Maze of Asperger Syndrome tells the story of a family in search of a correct diagnosis for their son. Over twenty or more years, Ben sees doctors, stays in mental wards, even ends up in jail one time. The good news is that Ben's Asperger diagnosis opens up his future. Finally he can search for real solutions to the very real difficulties he has had. This is an encouraging book mostly, though some of it is difficult to read if you can picture your own child in Ben's shoes,
