Wednesday, August 4, 2010 - 1:12 PM -
Off & on for the past 3 hours, I have been trying to
access my www.yahoo.com e-mail account, & it has not
been "working correctly". Have been "getting into" my
e-mail, but have not been able to "answer" any e-mail
messages I need to answer. I am feeling very...

This afternoon I got another TV show created for Derry, NH CATV. Not much else happening this evening. I am watching documentaries on DVD here in the downstairs Den room, my "living area".
I have been thinking more about Christianity & its relationship with Islam, & the more I think about it, the more I see as a Deacon Elder of...

The second day of the conference was my favorite. The first day had more practical tips, but the second day we got to hear Temple Grandin and Tony Attwood! Tony Attwood has been my hero for a long time. His was one of the first books I read about Asperger's when I learned about it, and every line had me saying, "Yes!...

A big issue that "drives conflicts" is one's "point of view", which is not "independent of culture or upbringing".
FACT:
In the Islamic World, the "Veil/Hijab/Burka" was originally not part of their culture. As to "where they got that", was from the Greco-Roman World, which became Christian. The...

Being trapped in a "mortal" body, I am not a paragon of virtue. Being "human", I am "fallable", & "prone to error".
From my own experience, there is nobody without biases & predjudices, even me.
One has to "learn" to see others as also being human, & just as precious in their humanity...

Pardon my previous thoughts...
The issue we "Westerners" have, when looking @ the Muslim World "from the outside", is that we have "extreme difficulty", "seperating", what the Holy Quran "really says" about women & "their rights", versus the "traditional cultural...

I get all my news & information only via WBUR-FM & the Internet. Therefore, I am not suprised @ all, that the United Arab Emirates & Saudi Arabia have "permanently" suspended all Blackberry Communication Device Services as "Against Islam". They are in an all-out war against "Wee-Wee & Voo-Voo related...

I do think Neurotypicals are beginning to listen to us. Really I believe this is true, but I am wondering if you truly understand the extent to which last minutes changes are painful.
I think the point would be better made if we were in the majority and NT's were in the minority. Then we would create laws to reflect our interest. The legislature...

Simply have been running flat-out, busy with things I had to do this past weekend.
Saturday - Attended the All-Adult Summer Day-Long Meetup conference of the Asperger's Association of New England on the campus of Northeastern University. Spent the day, ambulating using my wheelchair. I used the MBTA to get to & from Northeastern, since it was...

As we prepare for the new school year, this question will be asked with ever increasing frequency. Yes. Professionals such as school psychologists and speech/language pathologists can diagnose or classify a child with an autism spectrum disorder (ASD) within the school context. The dramatic increase in the prevalence of children with ASD...
