It has been 2 days since Dad passed away Wednesday morning. Nate has been busty with making funeral arrangements, & other affairs, related to Dad's finances, ect.
Since Dad is "deceased", Nate as "Executor", has to have Dad's tax return filled out by Dad's Accountant, & Nate has to "sign" for Dad as executor...

Chapter Twenty-four
Archer hadn’t expected the Gloucester Police Department to be so modern. It’s brick and glass structure stood conspicuously among the neglected storefronts and homes she had passed since exiting Route 128. Its design was likely intended to instill confidence in Gloucester’s law enforcement...

Chapter Twenty-three

Chapter Twenty-two
Archer loved to drive, listen to the radio, sing and wiggle in her seat. To her ears, she was in tune. But as Wayne liked to remind her, she was off-key. So when she was alone, she sang. Loud and proud. And to herself, she was perfectly in...

I 've been stuck for words this week. My brain has been active as usual but I've had lots bottled up inside due to not having words.
Went on a dog walk this afternoon with Josh and one of his friends. My head cleared and this evening I have access to words again. Its lovely. Time to restart writing on my book and talking to people.

Chapter Twenty-one
The Subaru’s tires screeched as she pulled into the library parking lot. Wayne was perched at the Help Desk.

“Who’s Trish?”
“Don’t you know anything about your son? That girl he drove off with to get...
