By: tommy_w8576 Monday, August 08, 2011 @6:40:22 PM

Arrived @  the University of Pittsburgh campus in Johnstown, PA where this year's AUTREAT 2011 of the Autism Network International Organization is being held. Been a year since I have been face-to-face with my friends in ANI since last year's AUTREAT 2010. That was 2 1/2 hours ago. Already had "orientation". Just taking time to...

Autism: Taking Responsibility

By: Yusei_Fudo Sunday, July 31, 2011 @8:19:37 PM

I read an interesting editorial today in the newspaper today about how parents don't take as much responsibility for their kids as they used to, or for anything else, for that matter. Here is a link to the online version of the article: http://www.twincities.com/opinion/ci_18577877?nclick_check=1 If parenting is on the decline, I have to wonder...

Such a "user" am I

By: trishkj Saturday, July 30, 2011 @2:03:41 PM

I am such a "user" of you all.  I read some posts, rarely reply to any, yet post some thoughts of my own with expectation that someone will read them.  I'm likely not a very good friend right now.   In my last post, I talked about how my daughter got her very first job.  She's doing great there, but things are still...

Autism Speaks: A Poem

By: Yusei_Fudo Saturday, July 30, 2011 @6:30:06 AM

It not only speaks It breathes And it cries And it laughs And it dies.   Autism speaks Of how we shouldn't Always take things for granted And how outcasts Are the one who have shaped the world All along.   It calls It questions It searches In desperation For life to make sense.   Autism speaks Of why sticking...

I'm Back with News

By: Yusei_Fudo Friday, July 29, 2011 @1:17:30 PM

Got my classes and my textbooks for college in August. I had to take a math placement exam at Freshman Orientation, but luckily I talked to a professor about my Forensics major and got to take the Trigonometry test instead of Algebra. 20/30 and I didn't even use a calculator. And apparently that's a high enough score to get into Calculus 1. Here...

Never think < (Less than) always think = to in terms of value/worth

By: KMDD Saturday, July 23, 2011 @7:39:05 PM

Some people look upon these mathematical signs and simply understand them in that application however when they are said and and referred to about an individual they take on an entirely "different" meaning. Life 's variables are fully never seen or understood in simple mathematical terms but really it should be.We all can compare/notice...
