Hi, everyone! My name is Maia,Im 73, and I suspect I may be the Mum to two Aspie daughters. I cant believe its taken me so long,over 45 years, to find this out, if indeed they both have Aspergers syndrome.
My older daughter i now 48, and the younger one is 46. I havent seen theolder one in almost 4 years, or the younger one...

I guess I am in a sad mood.
A couple Aspie friends I know are in "meltdown" mode.
Maybe the issue is with each of their Mommies.
Myself being very quiet lately.
Not feeling like "pissing people off".

I would like to know how to make friends, I have "friends through my husband" but I would really love to have just 1 friend who I have made myself, who likes me for who I am. I get lonly sometimes and would like to share experiences, go to lunch or a movie.

Been a month since my last blog entry here. I have been busy with other things.
I do have a shelter hut for my 3.5 KW Emergency Electrical Generator "partly" constructed. I need more 2" x 3" x 8' lumber & I need plywood & roofing shingles.

I have made a video about the differences between Aspergers & Autism using Donna Williams Fruit Salad Analogy (1995), I was diagnosed with Autism in 2010 and Scotopic Sensitivty Syndrome in 2012. I hope this video helps others.
