I travel for a living. Humans think our own hometown is wonderful and original. I got to looking and comparing notes in my head. Our villages, towns, suburbs, and cities are organized about the same everywhere. These are some of things I noticed from town to town. Also I wanted to take note of some of the changes in the last 20 years I...

Too much rain lately. Have not been able to videotape insect behavior, nor work in my garden, or get the lawn mowed again for my Dad. Also have not been able to use the old 2.5" refracting telescope for any backyard astronomy after dark.
Unusual weather pattern for the month of June. Not normal by any means.

I was lucky enough the other day to not only have the day off but also to attend as a chaperone my son's end of year field trip. While many parents had signed up only two others actually went. How unfortunate for them.We all had a blast .We went to a waterpark and had lunch later in a nearby park setting. It was all day long but i had the best...

Playing special computer games has been shown to help prepare kids for school. Psychologists at the Univ of OR designed games to train the network of brain areas involved in attention which undergoes important development between ages 3 and 7. The team of researchers was led by Dr. Michael Posner is a prominent scientist in...

In the last 24 hours, I have found out, that a soldier from Salem, NH got blown up & killed in Iraq, & @ his funeral coming up, the people from the Westboro Baptist Church (Rev. Fred Phelps) in Topeka, Kansas are going to come to damn his soul to hell for homosexuality...

This morning, I woke up from a dream, where in it, I had been strapped down, face-down on an examination table, & was given an "injection" into my spinal cord in my neck, to destroy the connection from my body to my head. Immediately after the injection in my dream, I was immediately placed into an "Iron Lung Machine" to...

Not much has happened lately. Yesterday evening Nate had friends over, & in my usual autistic way, I was on the periphery. Yesterday was "Children's Sunday", & Rev. Ferguson gave the 3rd Grade Sunday School Class "new" Bibles. Friday, I had to help out @ a church supper to "feed the hungry".
Pardon my...

We all have bones in the closet and crosses to bear. A religion is supposed to help you find peace within your soul. I am a conservative independent Christian. My family is at peace with the world and death because God gave his only son to die on the cross to forgive our sins. This helps me enjoy the hour or two that Tanner lets me sleep....

Hey, is it just mean, or do people as a whole seem to be in a state of dread, self-loathing, and depression like that of a suicidal teenager? "Life After People", "The World Without Us", "The Day the Earth Stood Still", and other apocalyptic visions in recent time...
It's as if the whole of humanity is saying:...

This morning, I had to babysit my Dad, while Nate had a doctor's appointment, & had to get the crankcase oil changed in Dad's car.
Not muich else happenening today, except for doing a few house chores, & driving to a medical supply place for "adult diapers" for my medical incontinence.
