Anna has survived her first school experience at age 17. I must say that this experience has confirmed my belief that parents are the best directors of their children's education. I think they're an ideal place for people with AS/Autism to hangout and socialise, I have created a group and its going well I think they're an important part of improving you social skills and gain confidence and self esteem. :-)

One new DVD that i recently purchased is VERY calming yet captivating to my son and was very cheap!!It has acoustic music playing in the background with beautiful pictures of colorful fish and turtles from underneath the ocean.He even asks for it and says play the fish one.Played before bedtime has become a ritual.It's title is 'Healing Oceans'...
