Broward Children's Center has been providing quality programs to infants, children, and young adults with special needs since 1971. The Respite program provides a temporary break to reduce the parent's, or caregiver's, stress when caring for a special needs child at home. Services are provided in an effort to prevent costly out-of-home placement, prevent potential child abuse and neglect, preserve the family unit, and support family stability.
