I help run a social group for adults on the spectrum (Age range 18 -26). We have a variety of participants but I worry that a few of the participants who are either limited in their ability to verbalize their thoughts are not getting as much out of the group as they could. Also, recently a participant who is completely non verbal has joined and as this is something that is new to me I am very nervous. I have a very difficult time knowing what he wants/needs but I don't want to seem condescending either because this is not my intention. I just want everyone there to have a nice time away from the pressures of life. How can I meaningfully include and communicate with the participants that have trouble with verbal communication so they don't feel left out or like they are not being heard?

Thank you.

Dare to be REMARKABLE
