Hi.
My question is:
How can I tell if other people are treating me badly; or if I am just over-reacting to their behaviour?
For example, sometimes at work my boss becomes agitated, shouts, and criticizes the workers.
His comments are such that no response is acceptable or adequate (I think this is called "venting").
When he is "venting", I become angry, but I do not know whether this is because he is treating me unreasonably, or whether I am over-sensitive to criticism. Or, whether I am over-sensitive to the noise and confusion of his ranting.
In all of those instances, my reaction is the same, so I cannot tell.
How can I decide whether someone's behaviour is not ok?
