Diagnosing Autism: "Trust Your Instincts" - L. Mae Wilkinson for Autism Hangout

Autism Hangout's newest reporter, L. Mae Wilkinson runs her own website (www.autismisnottheboss.com). In this Special Report, Mae cites a recent study that shows there is as much as a four year gap between when children are actually diagnosed with autism vs. when it is possible for them to be diagnosed.

Part of the solution is to make sure that parents trust their instincts and follow up on any concerns about their child's development.
