Autism Hangout SPECIAL REPORT here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G3AhORYgBs0

Text from video:

This is an Autism Hangout SPECIAL REPORT about Autism Friendly businesses. Now, I’m not going to tell you what to do, I’m certainly not meaning to be controversial, here, but as a consumer, I really like the idea that I can VOTE with my dollars. And I’d like to tell you about some companies that I feel, in my case, are worth voting for… those businesses that generously donate to the cause of autism.

Autism really knows no demographics. It occurs everywhere. Those that have experienced the condition directly know the importance of giving generously to find causes and cures. I suspect many of the businesses that give to autism causes have people like this inside their doors. I’d like to meet those compassionate people. So I like to enter those businesses that are giving selflessly so others experiencing autism can thrive.

I can’t name all the wonderful folks and businesses that donate, but Home Depot, Toys R US, TJ Max, General Motors, Checkers Drive Ins and Barnes and Noble are but a few. Given a choice in places I can spend my dollar, I figure I can say thanks to them and reward their generosity by being their customer. So these business get my vote.

If you’re so inclined, if you also choose to patronize those that are helping our community, that’s great. If not, at least stop in and say thanks.

Now, if you’ve got some other businesses you’d like to mention so we can support them. Please do so in the follow up thread to this SPECIAL REPORT.

Thanks for watching! I’m Craig Evans for Autism Hangout.
